With S/Y Veritas on leg 7-12 eastwards through The Indonesian Sea, Sulawesi, Borneo, Solomon and southeast to New Caledonia, then southeast to French Polynesia, then westwards back to Noumea through mid Pacific islands area.. Look below for details of the route for the different legs. Weather and time decides the final route.













Write a book, your philosophies or poems. Produce a video or a picture collection. Be a painter, look at moons and stars in the night, sunrise and sunsets, dive, fish, visit many harbours and cities or be creative as you like - at the same time as we sail to our destination.


The journey will take approx. 28 months. The Journey with S/Y Veritas starts from Phuket 15th. Of May 2018 and ends in Denmark September. 2020.


The basic contribution as crew for the berth and the journey will be the amount of Danish Crowns DKr. 220,00 per. day per person. Furthermore your share of provisions (food, water) and supplies is approx. Danish Crowns. DKr. 1500-2500 (for food, fuel and beverages etc.)


The vessel is 50 feet Bavaria cruiser with 10 berths 5 cabins, 3 bathrooms, large galley as well as cockpit on upper deck. 3 cabins are double berths and 2 cabin are with bunk berths all with fan. The Vessel is with modern new Raymarine security and navigation equipment, extra sails, new standing and running rig (New Radar Q24C, 2 plotters c125 and Dragonfly 7 pro, 2 VHF, 2 GPS, AIS, 2 Satellite telephones, Echo sounder, Auto-pilot, etc.). The vessel is very safe and automatic. The vessel has a large Volvo Penta engine and is in generel well equiped. Among security equipment there is 2 safety rafts for 10-12 persons plus a rubber dinghy with 2 outbound engines, fire/gas/Co2 alarms, aut. fire extinguisher and Epirb. MOBs and all new equipment. (see below for our basic equipment list).





It will be possible to make tours on land. During the journey it will be possible to visit smaller and larger harbours and islands and to take a hike around when its possible. It is not possible to predict accurate where we will go ashore and anchor, but it will be a part of the journey to harbours as often as it is possible. There will also be plentiful night sailings.

Leg 7: Start 15-20th. Of May 2018: South Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Northside sailing costal of Java, Bali, Lombok, Flores, Komodo, The Indonesian Sea, Sulawesi, (Or through Torres if weather says so) Papua Bar, Bismarck and maybe north Solomon. 4 months.


Leg 8: Start around 25th. Of September 2018: Going from Jayapura to Bismarck, north Solomon then Palau, Micronesia, Marchall, Kiribati and Polynesia: - all depending of weather etc. Approx 5 months.


Leg 9: Starts around 10th. Of March 2019: Tahiti, French Polynesia and around, then to BoraBora, Cook, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Niue etc. and towards Caledonia, Noumea. Approx 4 months.


Leg 10: Start 20th. Of July 2019: Noumea, Australia, Great Barriere reef, Torres or (Weather decide) Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Solomon, Bismarck, Papua Bar, Sulawesi, Celebes, Flores, Lombok, Bali, Java, Malaysia, Malaka strait towards South Thailand, Phuket arrival ultimo december 2020. approx 4,5 months.


Leg 11: Starts around 8th. Of January to Nicobar, West-India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, East-India, Goa and onwards to Alexzandria, Egypt. approx. 4 months.


Leg 12: Start around 15th. Of May from Alexzandria, The Mid. Atlantic Ocean, English Canal, Denmark. approx 4 months.



All places to anchor will be decided finally during the voyage. All times and places are approx. around 1 week have been inserted between all legs for maintenance without crew payments, Crew only pays the leg duration.
